Adjei AbankwahAdjei was a principal dancer and choreographer with The Ghana Dance Ensemble for 11 years. In addition to dancing, he is an accomplished musician and composer. He plays a number of traditional African Instruments including the flute, xylophone, bass marimba, and drums.
Adjei now lives in Boulder, Colorado, where he teaches dance, music, composes for, and performs with his band Charlie Sounds. Adjei is the co-producer and director of the BaoBao Festival and co-founder of Enkambum. Enkambum, a Colorado non-profit organization, based in Boulder, is dedicated to building community through multi-cultural experiences in the performing arts.

Clara NsiahClara has been in the tour industry for more than 10 years. She has assisted numerous university groups over the years during their stays in Ghana, including Duke University, St. Michael’s College of Vermont, the School for International Training at the University of Ghana, and many more.
Clara currently lives in Kumasi, at the heart of the Ashanti Kingdom (5 hours north of Accra). Clara’s unique ability to understand and anticipate the needs of tourists makes her an exceptional care giver. Her wisdom, wit, and vast knowledge of Ghana’s history and culture makes her a delightful and informative guide. With Clara’s care and guidance, you’ll feel right at home in Ghana.
